Delete your account

Petra, by Metanoia Labs, Inc.

You can delete your Petra account, and everything in it, at any time. It takes a minute and can’t be undone.

In the app

• Open Petra and go to Settings.
• Tap Delete my account.
• Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away, on every device: the phone and desktop apps and the website.

Without the app

Email asare@workpetra.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Petra account”. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete the account, and reply when it’s done.

What’s deleted

• Your account: your name, email address and phone number.
• Everything you’ve told Petra: your conversations and check-ins, and the companies, projects, people, to-dos and notes in them.
• Your settings, reminders and any calendar connection.

A membership paid by card is cancelled before the account is deleted, so you’re not charged again. A membership bought through the App Store is managed by Apple: cancel it in your Apple account settings.

What’s kept

• Records of past payments, which our payment processor keeps as the law requires.
• Copies in our database backups, which are replaced on a rolling basis.
